- Historical Note: This iconic teapot brings to life characters from Cravendale's celebrated television advertising campaigns. The surreal design features a pirate with a telescope forming the pouring spout, a characterful black-and-white cow head shaping the main handle, and a "Yellow Jersey" cyclist forming the top lid assembly. Condition Report
This teapot is in fantastic, clean pre-owned condition. The glazed porcelain is exceptionally bright, showing no unsightly crazing, discolouration, or deep surface scratches. Crucially, the complex points—including the pirate spout rim, the cow's horns, and the cyclist's wheels on the lid—are completely free from chips, cracks, or flea-bites. Internally, the pot is pristine and free from tea staining or residual marks, and the base rim shows only minimal shelf wear.
