The two Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles badges date to 1988, produced at the genesis of the animated series explosion.

• Historical Note: The Star Wars badges are original UK market releases manufactured by Baynham & Stanfield, featuring the famous "inner ring" reverse design and the authentic 20th Century Fox film corporation copyright stamps running along the outer rim. Included is the highly sought-after "Darth Vadar Lives" novelty error variation (deliberately misspelled "Vadar" during early promotional printing waves). The TMNT pins are licensed under Mirage Studios via "Anything Goes Ltd", representing the earliest wave of Turtlemania items before mass-market flooding simplified the comic-accurate illustration styles.

A fantastic instant collection of 9 vintage pop culture pinback button badges, perfect for expanding an archive or mounting in a display case. The group features an exceptional layout of seven first-wave Star Wars (1977) cinematic pins alongside two classic Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles character badges from the late 1980s comic and cartoon era.

• Rare Misprint: Includes the iconic "Darth Vadar Lives" 1977 promotional pin showing the historic early-run typographic spelling error.

• Cinematic Stills: The Star Wars pins include iconic character profile portraits of R2-D2, C-3PO, Chewbacca, and a Stormtrooper, alongside the legendary Hildebrandt style theatrical poster graphics and the clean multi-star title logo badge.

• Vintage Turtles: Features Michelangelo and Leonardo portrayed in their original, vibrant 1980s graphic styles with complete character name banners across the front.

• Authentic Closures: All pieces retain their original steel wire pinback fasteners fixed into structural inner rings on the rear shells.

This joblot is in highly collectable, very good vintage condition. The lithographed paper faces remain bright, showing excellent colour retention with minimal age-toning and no major fading or severe sun bleaching. The clear protective top sheets display light surface marks and negligible micro-scratches from storage, entirely consistent with authentic items of this age. The pressed tin shells are structurally sound, showing only typical minor oxidation spots on the unpainted metal reverse plates. All rear steel pins are securely attached, unbent, and fully functional.
